يقع الهرم زوسر في وسط مجمع، ويحيط هذا المجمع جدار مجوف مصنوع من الحجر الجيري، ويحتوي على مداخل وهمية عددها 13، كما يوجد أيضًا مدخل الأعمدة وهو مدخل حقيقي متواجد على جانب الجدار الجنوبي الشرقي.
