May 15, 2021.I just added the push-pull gun to weld aluminum and still have the option to weld steel. I use the 350p when welding greater than 3/16" material. I recommend you get the 25 push-pull gun. I would recommend the Dynasty 400 if you go the TIG route. Running the 400 on 3 phase increases the rated output by 25% ( 200amps vs 250amps at 100% duty

Its all done with a Miller Spoolmatic 30A spool gun and Ive only done a couple hours with one before. Im welding up some 3" channel thats 1/4" thick and theyre coped so one fits inside the other at 90 degrees.

Aug 02, 2016.For thin sheet up to 40 thou steel, 60 thou aluminium one of the 3 in 1 press brake, shear, slip roller do a reasonable job. They come in 12 and 30 inch widths. Not a bad option for the prices you guys can get them for and surprisingly useful. Electric and air powered shears are also an option.

These days I do a shit-ton of sanding aluminum (I mean like standing at the belt sander for 7 hours a day) and I was using 80 grit ZA Norton belts from MSC at $11-12/ea.
